I was making money, but didn’t know how to think like the wealthy do and how to make money work for me rather than me working for money. How could I ever achieve true freedom if I was stuck in the confines of a traditional path? The answer was simple - I couldn't. I knew something had to change fast! That's when I decided to embark on the financial empowerment journey so I can live life on my terms.

At the age of 21, I stayed in the USA with only $20, no English, no acquaintances. I slept on the bare floor covering myself with the one sheet that I brought with me. And, just four years later, I landed a dream job with a Fortune 500 & number one publicly traded company in the world.

It turns out that finding myself  at the age of 16-years-old with the responsibility of raising my 4-year-old brother, entirely on my own, on $133 a month budget (half of which went to his medications), after my mom moved to another country, taught me a great life lesson on how to manage money wisely.

We were two kids alone for five years in a tiny apartment, afraid because the bills authorities were banging at our door to cut off yet another utility and demand payment. Living us many times with no gas or power in 10°F winters.

Even though those were very challenging times, I deeply cherish the nuggets of wisdom I learned.
